A little background on No7:
(Although I’m sure absolutely everyone and their mother knows all about No7 especially after the huge success their “Protect and perfect” range has had!) Boots No7 was launched in 1935 and is now one of the UK’s leading cosmetic and skincare brands. The No7 range is a huge hit world wide as customers believe they are affordable quality products.
A slightly cheaper alternative to “Eau de Mousse Micellaire aux 3 Rose” is “No7 gentle foaming cleanser”. While you won’t be blown away with lovely natural ingredients it does contain natural fruit acids to renew and purify the skin. It is also hypo-allergenic so shouldn’t cause any irritation to the skin. However it does contain parabens.
Put to the test: I removed my eye make-up first as usual with a separate product. I applied 2pumps of the product to damp skin and rubbed lightly in circular motions. The cleanser seemed to disintegrate very quickly though leaving me with very little to massage into my skin. I washed it off with luke warm water and patted my face dry with a towel. My skin looked clean and it did a really good job of removing my make-up but I didn’t feel like the product done anything else. My skin didn’t feel fresh or like it benefited from the cleansing.( I know it contains natural fruits to renew and purify but I didn’t feel it!) So overall it does get your skin clean but not much else.
